The WebCT courseware product is the University standard since fall of 2000. OIT provides free training and instructional design services to faculty who are interested in using WebCT with their teaching. WebCT provides the University with an array of tools applicable to a variety of course formats for the University: traditional classroom-taught courses, partially web-based classes, and entirely online classes. In addition, the WebCT system will be integrated with the University's new SCT Banner administrative system and Campus Pipeline web portal to create a robust online presence, provide one-point authentication (a single logon allowing you into all of the online resources needed for your educational experiences at NLU), facilitate communication, and strengthen collaborative efforts across the University.
