Update to NLU's Acceptable Use Policy for Technology

President McCray approved changes to the Acceptable Use of Information Technology Policy as recommended by the University Technology Council. The updates do not change the basic policy, but do provide more detailed explanations of how NLU implements the policy, with special emphasis on some of the security challenges all information system face in light of the exponential increases in hacking and virus-related activity seen worldwide this past year.

The policy is now in place. You may read it on the OIT web site at http://oit.nl.edu/documents/Acceptable_Use_Policy.pdf.
