Scheduled Maintenance Weekend Information
May System Maintenance Scheduled in 2 sessions...

The following is a brief description of the events and services that will be unavailable during our next scheduled maintenance period in two sessions (Friday evening May 20th and Saturday afternoon May 21st, through Sunday morning, May 22nd) to avoid disruption of services to classes.

** All systems, with the exception of WebCT, may be inaccessible between 10pm and 11pm, Friday May 20th.

Maintenance Session 1 – Friday May 20th 10:00pm – Saturday May 21st 7:00am
Access to the following systems may be unavailable at times during this 9 hour period.

  • Internet Access in and out of the University for 15 minutes at approx. 10:00pm
  • Luminis Portal (my.nl.edu) including access to Self Service
  • Citrix applications (NLU-Desktop, EMS, Cognos)
  • NLU Email for Faculty and Staff
  • Network File Storage (H & I drives)
  • Commonspot Authoring for the main NLU website (http://www.nl.edu)
  • Banner
  • http://directory.nl.edu website for the online directory of NLU faculty and staff
  • http://ReportRequest.nl.edu website for requesting Banner report information

Maintenance Session 2 – Saturday May 21st 3:00pm – Sunday May 22nd 12:00pm
Access to the following systems may be unavailable at times during this 21 hour period.

  • Banner
  • Luminis Self Service (accessed via my.nl.edu)
