  Updated Jinitiator for Banner 6 users

Due to some technical issues that arose during the last maintenance period, we need to do some urgent follow-up work this evening. As a result, Banner and Workflow services will be unavailable between 9:00 PM tonight and 10:00 PM. We have confirmed that no classes will be impacted by this work.

When you login to banner after this maintenance has been completed you will be prompted to re-install Jinitiator. Unless you access banner through Citrix all windows banner users will get the following warning on accessing INB banner at http://www.nl.edu/banner6/

The notification will look like:



Please choose install to automatically install the new client for you.

Once installed Banner will automatically load.

You can also access: http://oit.nl.edu/apps/jinit.exe to download and install the client manually.

After manually installation of the client, please close all your Internet Explorer browser windows once the installation has been completed. You should now be able to get back into banner by visiting: http://www.nl.edu/banner6/
